Carlisle Bay, Antigua

Idyllically positioned on a sandy spit between a horseshoe bay and lagoon, the development of these gardens and grounds were coordinated alongside the rebuild of the hotel by renowned hotelier Mr Gordon Campbell Gray.

Working with the rich tropical plant choice available, the design aimed to imprint the hotel grounds with a contemporary freshness, linking all rooms, bars and restaurants, swimming pool and spa, while blending sensitively with the unspoilt surrounding rainforest.

Avenues of mature palms, a subtle lighting scheme, and torch lit Lilly ponds, are elements that imbue the tropical gardens with atmosphere and drama.
